Understanding the past, making sense of the present, and intentionally building the future..

Legacy Journey Therapy

At Legacy Journey Therapy, we believe every person and every family has a story. That story is shaped by the people, experiences, relationships, and generations that came before us—and by the choices we make today.

Therapy is an opportunity to explore that story, understand how it has shaped you, and decide what you want to carry forward and what you want to leave behind. Whether you are navigating challenges individually, within your relationship, or as a family, our hope is to help you find healing, build stronger relationships, and take intentional steps toward the future you want.

Learning from the legacy passed on to us. Building a legacy for the future.

Meet Eric

Hi!

I believe our stories are shaped not only by where we come from, but also by the relationships we build and the choices we make along the way. It’s one of the reasons I’m passionate about helping others explore their own stories, better understand the experiences that have shaped them, and discover what they want their next chapter to look like.

I received my Master’s in Family Therapy from Friends University, as well as a master’s degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. I earned my B.A. in Communications from Georgetown College.

I live in the greater Kansas City area with my wife, Katie, our daughter, Zoe, and my stepsons, Bennett and Sawyer. Family is an important part of my own story, and I’m grateful for the relationships, experiences, and lessons that continue to shape our journey together.
